Wow, this is interesting. Usually these threads are loaded with people who love the stocks the threads are about. Not the case here. I have tried AOL a couple of times but I could not stand the format or the poor service.

The thing that is going to topple AOL is Road Runner by Time Warner. Time Warner just needs to realize that there is about a $25/mo cap on the price people are willing to pay for an internet connection. The deal is a breakeven for those who currently have a dedicated phone line for their internet connection but in order to sell Road Runner, Time Warner is going to have to come down in price.

I like my second phone line and am not willing to give it up to break even on my internet costs, nor am I willing to anty up another $20 for a faster internet connection.
