Geez, Gerry, Bob, CK, JDN, Sandie, Susan, reading your posts I can tell what kind of civilized persons you guys/gals really are. I can tell that I am not going to have any kind of civilized discusion on this thread but who cares. After my first post about TPRO, I realized that I made some serious accusations about TPRO without spending enough time to document and prove why I think this is a big SC*M. So I am digging up a few more things and it takes time, but I don't mean to keep you guys/gals waiting. Oh btw, I looked at the list of 19 companies (that pretended to be fixing Y2K problems in embedded systems) provided by Steve and I almost fell off my chair laughing. I recognize one of those companies real well, B-Tree Systems. I worked with that company not long ago. I will also have a humorous story about B-Tree. Thanks Steve for supplying me with this info. I wonder how many of you guys/gals actually go scouting everyone of the "stories" at the TAVA web site. I did and I found a lot of interesting things. Talking about research, I see some of you spent a lot of time digging up articles that are in favor of Y2K in general, or Y2K problems in embedded systems in particular. That's not research for God sake. Man, even a 10 year old kid can do a Yahoo search of keywords. Have you looked at both sides of the problems? I posted an article yesterday from Dow Jones that said that most companies chose to replace the systems that have problems rather than patching over the code. Also IBM has plenty of capacity to remediate mainframe code. Are those kinds of articles posted anywhere on the Y2K thread? One of you was calling the other day for people not to post any negative article about TPRO. It seems like a conspiracy to dupe others here.

OK, I am at work right now, so I will try my best to finish my writeup sometime today. I have no ulterior motive either. I can't short because all my investment money is in the IRA, and I mostly post at night because I am a night person and I also have a life besides work and reading/posting on SI. If you believe that you are investing in a solid company then don't fret over what I will say. It looks like some of you do. Anyhow, continue to flame me if you want and I won't have time to respond. But the truth will always win.
