What kind of alleged health professional....

Thursday a quack will be chopping and gouging uglies out of my neck, not for the first time. He's been on the Seattle's Best 100 Doctors list for two of the past three years, so probably has some idea what he's talking about.

He's suggested there's a small chance the little bit of weed I've been burning might exacerbate what's wrong. With current potency, it doesn't take much smoke to do the job, so it probably hasn't hurt me.

But OK, I'm done. This is unpleasant crap and my tolerance for risk has grown thin.

I'll miss it. It's given some relief from chronic lower leg pain and has been a pleasant occasional alternative to pre and/or postprandial apertifs.

Hereafter I'll use no more, nor will promote violence toward those that do. I'd wish there were a satisfactory way to preclude use, if any among others, at least till well after adolescence, but don't know what measure would offer best result. The "WAR" has seemed to have the opposite effect on the rebellious young.

A long time ago Consumer Reports wrote about the drug problem problem in LICIT AND ILLICIT DRUGS. I find merit in that observation.
