I have no idea what the ramifications of that would be but clearly Corel doesn't have a marketing strategy of their own. That's what these marketing research services are for so why don't they use them? They haven't done a valid analysis of the potential for such a move on their own, that much is clear. They were so far off base with the 3.1 version that we have to assume their marketing research is nothing more than a guess.
