Brian, I think you're somewhat correct in your computation, although the term "channel" still confuses me. I don't think you could have half a channel, as in 11.5 channels. The bandwidth of a channel seems dependant on the frequency. Obviously, one license for WinStar equals one channel equals 100 MHz. But for Teligent at 24 GHz, their channels are only 80 MHz and all their holdings are in multiples of 80, ie 80, 160, 240, 320, or 400 MHz. Does anybody know what the term channel means, and how much bandwidth one channel at 28 GHz equates to? Would it have anything to do with the carrying capability, ie in performance terms would 80 MHz at 24 GHz be equivalent to 100 MHz at 38 GHz?
