Just came from Walmart about 2 hours ago. I was surprised when, for the first time, the cashier had to explain how to use the card reader because it had a new feature that allowed you to do a transaction through your phone. This is in Arkansas, now. She was explaining it to everyone that came through the line (at least I assume, though it could have been just me). I asked if it took ApplePay now, so I actually heard her saying that it accepted ApplePay, but in retrospect I think she really didn't know what ApplePay was and thought I was using some generic term for paying with your iPhone.

I didn't try it. My iPhone is a 4s version. But, just using a credit card is getting clumsier, what with the chip cards. Stick the card in and DO NOT REMOVE for what seems like quite some time while everyone waits, as my fingers spasm wanting to pull it back out. That's my debit card. It connects to every dollar in my monthly budget, once the eagle makes its drop.
