Yeah, Tim, I do believe CO2 emissions ARE causing Global Warming, but pragmatically speaking I don't see any real solution in the immediate future.

As far as the Oklahoma quakes, I think it HAS been established that there's a direct cause and effect with fracking. Whether it could be a good thing in the long term because it helps to release pent up stresses and avoid larger quakes is something to consider. The people that have seen their homes seriously damaged by the current quakes may not be that accepting of the quid pro quo of the long term benefit.

As far as the time frame for Florida being under water, let's just say I'm not advising any of my friends to invest in Florida real estate for an extended investment. When you pass that final tipping point things might happen much more rapidly than what we've seen so far.

All those giant holes they're noticing in Northern Russia seem to involve the melting of permafrost. From what I understand that involves the release of Methane into the atmosphere. Apparently that's a pretty good contributor to Global Warming also.

There might not be as much time as you think....
