Looks like we will know sooner than I expected. Now if the Egyptian Crats will turn over the Black Boxes to
France. I read that Egypt is not up to speed on the technology of analyzing the material.

The Greek Coast Guard announced Thursday that it had discovered debris suspected of belonging to the EgyptAir plane that crashed in the Mediterranean before dawn.

May 19, 2016, 3:56 PM (IDT) There are growing signs that the crash of EgyptAir flight 804 from Paris to Cairo into the Mediterranean before dawn on Thursday was an act of terror. Greek Defense Minister Panos Kammenos said the plane made "sudden swerves" in midair and turned 360 degrees before it disappeared from radar screens, while residents of Greek islands reported that they saw a ball of fire falling from the sky. In France, the prosecutor general announced that he was opening a criminal investigation into the circumstances of the crash, and French President Francois Hollande officially announced that "the plane crashed." Analysis of the plane's flights before reaching Paris showed that it had landed in Eritrea and Tunisia.
