Right. Notice when the growth began. That was when the "managed care" craze began 20 years ago.

Not defending it, just saying that's what happened. The growth in administration began well before the ACA. A decade.

The industry is complicated and comments like yours are floating around and they just aren't that well-informed. Not intending to offend, but I hear it over and again. Given what insurance companies do, they are a great value. The government regulation is counter-productive, but they still do a reasonable job.

Drug companies are still creating new molecules and that's what matters. If it is at high cost, that is to be expected. Expensive drugs today are more affordable 15 years from now and it is what keeps American cancer survival rates improving.
