jim, that server that cpq was talking about is purchased and loaded
cost about $200-400k. I have one of those servers that has zero on it and it cost 40k. I'll add stuff as needed.
The big corps buy the cpq servers and they are so loaded that
it cost $600k.
some gov't agencies might buy 100 servers at once.

please continue to dig yourself in a hole.
you do a good job of that.

the news release didn't mean the server cost 11k.....
just the hot swappable drives on that server cost more than pcs.
and it's not unusual for a corp to load it down with a gig of memory that is in 256megabyte modules and it's the sync mem.
