That was Zenbu wifi strategy. But it turned out there's no free lunch:
You can get your VR website listed on the Tesla website. This is HUGE. Not only does having a massive site like Tesla link to your site really boost your website’s ranking, but this is where Tesla owners go when researching where to stay before leaving on a trip. Additionally, anyone currently on a road trip will also see your listing on the large Tesla map in the car.

The Zenbu Google search ranking was good and being on the Zenbu map zenbu.net.nz was good too. But free stuff that has an actual cost to provide leads to problems and so it will be with Superchargers. Something that costs a lot of money cannot be provided for a one-off up-front fee in the price of the item that uses the free stuff. People who don't need much of it will be paying for those who do and when they go to get a charge, they'll find there is a queue for a scarce resource.

7SSS [seven second swap stop] is the way to go. Until there's battery swap technology, battery cars will not be the winners. Cyberphones are similar - but anyone can carry another battery and swap it. It's not done by anyone I have come across. A car driver doesn't have the option of carrying a spare battery.
