It all starts with the military. They have all the world's best military stuff, so they naturally tell presidents that they can win any battle, war, what have you. Then, we just assume the EVERYONE wants democracy, we'll have elections and then get to leave! But, when the people actually SEE that democracy sucks balls, they join ISIS. The commanders we leave with our military equipment sell it to ISIS. The armies we trained at great expense get stiffed while their commanders cash their paychecks. then, they join ISIS to use their skills. That's why I think Obama's drone-based foreign policy in the ME is GREAT! I think they should set it up so that, for a fee, we could all kill jihaddis on our home computers over the internet.
