Steve,
You are cought up in your own technology.

I am looking at the cost for preformance.
It goes down every day.
I know CPQ and DELL make most of their Profits on Servers.
It is the sale of millions of low margin low cost PC's that enable them to have the resources to produce the servers at such great margins.
2) Servers, Name a company that is not after the 50-60% margins on these boxes. Prices and competition are getting intence.

Would you agree ?
CPQ says that this new server is $33.37 /tpmC, a new low price.
In a year that price will drop more Correct ?
How long before that number gets to $10 /tpmC ?
And how big is the growth in demand for tpmC ?
Now the capacity to provide tpmC increases demand, but companies in their efforts to supply ever cheeper tpmC will grow their capicity to provide tmpC. At some point, each unit can provide more than is needed. At that point, despite increasing demand for tpmC Pricing will plumit in the same way DRAM Bits produced swamped demand for Bits that is still growing at 50%.

Am I getting any closer here or is just the technology that you think will propell the stock higher ?

Jim
