I'm particularly interested in the paragraph as follows:

"Our customers, who often are early adapters, have
already purchased DVD hardware and are buying
multiple DVD movies," said Peter Busch, Musicland's
vice president of video. "As we anticipated, this trend is
moving quickly into the mainstream of movie buyers."

I'm wondering once triggers like this one occur, how fast does
the mainstream "buy in"? Anyone with marketing experience care
to comment out there?
