Ian - OT You missed my point. If Microsoft does indeed have the better (ie cheaper, more functional) system, then why did they resort to strong arm tactics? In the short run such monopolistic practices do indeed bring down prices, but in the long run they boost prices. (See OPEC, or AT&T before the breakup, or even Apple vs IBM PC's...) Of course, this being humanity, nothing lasts forever. I have no doubt that Microsoft will eventually be wiped out, but do you really want to operate for 100 years under a monopolistic system that is allowed to squash any competition before they can introduce better/cheaper technology. Let Microsoft build their monopoly by making better/cheaper, not by virtue of their extant monopoly. Clark
