Apple's Echo rival may have built-in camera Apple's (AAPL) rival to Amazon's (AMZN) Echo may have a built-in camera, CNet reports. The U.S. tech giant has looked into placing a camera in the device, which may come in the form of an intelligent speaker, the report says, citing people familiar with Apple's plans. The device would be "self aware" and be able to detect people in the room with the use of facial recognition technology, the report says.
