Perhaps it can be said "multiple reasons and causes"

Some of it nature and some of it man made-----i.e. blocking the flow
of water .

Water has been a question since the early settlers crossed from the East
to the West.

We put a man on the moon----considered impossible-----technology, science, and common sense
proved that was possible.

Donald Trump is a problem solver----I look forward to his tackling these problems after he is
in office.
