Scribbler, an appropriate name for his scribbling BS.

note the very rapid growth of water-hungry Las Vegas

Nevada's allocation of Colorado River water, including Las Vegas, is about 4%.

California's allotment is by far the largest of any state in the Compact, which also includes Mexico, and the majority of that water goes to corporate farms in the Imperial and Coachella Valleys, where they grow hay and alfalfa to ship to Asia.

So boo, hoo. Time for some reallocation. The American Southwest is basically a desert environment in the first place, and major droughts of MUCH longer duration than the current one have happened periodically in the past, long before SUV's and carbon based energy sources appeared on the scene..

And all your expensive, inefficient, crony capitalist, bird chopping windmills and bird frying solar farms won't make one iota of difference in the global climate, which will continue to do what it always has done, which is to continually change.

If Trump manages to put a stop to you and your statist comrades power grabbing and wealth distribution schemes, masquerading under hysterical threats of Chicken Little, global warming bullshit, then that alone is sufficient reason to hope he gains the Presidency. And watching liberal, statist heads explode will be a corollary source of amusement..
