It makes you wonder. Why would someone who is supposed to be worth billions and supposedly has an income of hundreds of millions of dollars a year get involved in a small-scale scam like this? Trump U was clearly organized as a scam from the beginning. And it just wasn't possible for it to net more than a few million after expenses. So what was his rationale?

Like his attempt to stiff the veterans groups. He didn't actually send them the money that was raised until the press made a big deal of it. So not only did he try to skim off the donated money, he also lied repeatedly about his own donation.
