Yes, the USA has had decades of imported disease.

In the early 1900's there was the Spanish Flu that came into New York City-------young Americans were taken in the prime of their lives as they died from the Spanish Flu epidemic.

In my husband's family, a young lawyer on Park Street was taken by the disease----leaving his offspring to be
cared for by relatives. As I did the research, I find that the Brooklyn home still stands and is being
bought and sold. It is even on the internet.

Then there was Polio and----before that TB that came home with Sailors in WWII.

Yes, a good reason for controlling immigration and assuring they are not contagious with
diseases as they apply for entry and ultimately citizenship.

Donald Trump understands the need to control immigration in a methodical and sensible way.

One suggestion I would make is to require proof of vacination for the communicable diseases.

and to be free of those upon application and completion of application.
