if you want to turn your iPhone for credit towards another new release phone you must have the proper glass replacement otherwise it is not accepted. some kits or places that repair the glass is not a direct replacement of the structure originally in the phone.

when i turned mine in for credit and another person they went over the iPhone and especially the type glass.

i asked what that was all about and he explained if glass was replaced it must be a glass replacement.
