Not all third part repair shops have access to Apple Certified parts so they use OEM version which are close in specs but not exactly the same in resolution and or quality.

Best choice for me has always been get Apple Care with the iPhone and use a Zagg screen protector and a case that isn't slippery.

So far I've not had a screen break from dropping one of my iPhones.
