I for one was not expecting actual Zen benchmarks, but apparently, the lack thereof is wrist-slit-worthy... .......agreed........apparently only taped out in Jan.......earliest they could have had silicon was mid Feb. If they can launch the desktop by Nov/Dec, I think that would be quite good. I don't know what people here expect Lisa to say. She is NOT going to say, claim, or do anything reckless at this point. It's not her nature .......especially if things are looking good and progressing on their schedule. Sounds like they will send out some samples to customers before the end of the month (meeting her past stated goals) with wider sampling starting in July. She stated they will be providing a lot more information on progress in the next few months. At least now, I'm not at all concerned. Sounds like it will be very power efficient......just hope it can compete on single thread performance within perhaps 10% of Intel .........should know in a few months
