We've used 2 nukes.

The use of those nukes caused maybe 300,000 deaths, but it also probably saved the lives of 5 million minimum.

Including my father and my wife's father.

I think we should have probably used at least a couple more nukes, or at least the threat of nukes, to get rid of Stalin. Also to get rid of Mao in China. Those two things would have saved an additional 20 million people at least.

The ONLY chance anyone has ever had to get RID of nuclear weapons and bring an era of democracy and freedom to the world was in the years directly following WWII. We were the ONLY superpower and we could have accomplished it.

We didn't and now we're stuck with nukes EVERYWHERE.

You seem to think that if you have power you shouldn't really use it and be very nice and everybody else will be very nice and everything will work itself out and everybody will be happy.

Human nature doesn't work that way.

The U.S. is now under MORE threat than it was in 1941.

Now you can "cut & paste" some article that you believe proves I'm wrong.....

I'll love reading it.........
