longnshort - The actual unemployment rate is 9.8%. The gov now only counts those on unemployment as being unemployed. The reason for the little drop in today's gov unemployment rate is half a million workers dropped out of the work force. If the work force shrinks naturally the percent of the work force unemployed goes down. LMHO Obugger's myth busting speech on the economy cited here earlier was a total joke. It just shows how stupid the demonrats here are that they would point to it. They should have been embarrassed. The only honest thing in the speech is he correctly laid out what the Republicans are saying about him and the economy. The funny thing is the Republicans are right on all counts. At least he did not get into a stuttering fit. I guess his teleprompter was working. LMHO if if if if if if if if if if if I guess bugger boy will hang around Washington for a couple of years to try and protect his pitiful legacy. He has rented a house with a two year lease. Monthly rent is greater than his pension so I guess he will be whoring himself out for speeches. Maybe Michael will help. LOL
