We could go on and on about this, but the FACT still remains that we dropped the bomb on Hiroshima and the Japanese did NOT surrender.

What if the Germans had said that they would surrender as long as Hitler remained in power?

Would we or should we have accepted that if it would have ended hostilities?

The Emperor of Japan was never brought to trial.

Would you be O.K. with Hitler remaining in power and never brought to trial?

The Japanese were NOT kind to any of their enemies in WWII and the decision to let the Emperor continue to be the Emperor was NOT a popular decision.

It was a pragmatic decision though and that's the best you can get.

Stop hating the U.S. so much and start thinking more pragmatically.
