><>...Steve, no question!

Jesus went to Paradise....Luke 23:43, 2 Cor.12:4
Paradise is a beautiful place....but is it heaven? Or could it be some sort of "waiting" room? It is defined as a place of "future" happiness # 3857..

Steve I find only 1 reference to hell and Jesus having been there..But it is certainly not the hell most people think of!!!Not by a long shot!
Acts 2:31-32.."He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we are all witnesses."

The word hell in this scripture is as you said, #86, "hades". Hades is interpreted "grave", place or state of departed souls.

In v.32 Paul make that clear by stating that God raised Him up... from the "grave"....His Resurrection....
Has nothing to do with the "pits of hell", that doesn't yet exist as people think of it...

1 Pt.3:19...Tells us He preached in "prison" # 5438,cage, hold, imprison, imprisonment, ward, watch. Taken from the prime # 5442= from the idea of "isolation".....

See also "hell" as it is use in 2 Pt.2:4 #5020, it is only used Once. That is the word "Tartaroo"...According to scripture Jesus was never there....

Have a great day in our Lord. ...All 8 of you.. smile

Shalom...><>
