IRRELEVANT FACT: Debt to equity ratios in early-stage technology companies.

When a young company with a history of (net income) losses has any debt, this ratio is always distorted. Plus, net debt (debt less cash) is more important.

Does anyone know why management must focus on the next-generation product INSTEAD of continuing the subscriber roll-out? That is, why are they neccesarily mutually exclusive events? Is the current infrastructure/cell sites not capable of handling this new product? If they are compatible then I don't see the logic in discontinuing the roll-out.

Also, my brother has a Motorola modem with Internet access through his local cellular provider. This would seem to be a major threat to MCOM? If not, why not?
