Donald Trump goes to war with the GOP: Republicans turned off by his racism need “to get over it”

Posted on June 8, 2016 by everybodylovestrump

Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump appeared on Hannity Tuesday evening to tout his victory, yet again, and to tell the increasing number of Republicans uncomfortable with him as their party’s figurehead to “get over it.”

Trump initially insisted that he doesn’t “want to talk about [the Trump University trial] anymore — I want to talk about jobs,” but the conversation quickly turned into him listing his campaign’s tired complaints about the judge presiding over the trial and the law firms involved in it.

[ There's no way around it. If Trump is the nominee, the campaign's agenda will be about what he wants it to be. A "Mexican" judge will be the central issue of the Republican party. When he speaks to the convention, he'll talk more about the judge than he will Hillary and Obama.

Barry Goldwater made the pro-civil rights Republican party into the anti-civil rights party in mind of voters. And Trump will make the Republican party the Anti-Hispanic party. Because he wants to. Because he has a lawsuit he should have settled before running for office and his personal business comes before party and country.

The other day Preibus made Trump read a speech someone else wrote off a teleprompter: “I understand the responsibility of carrying the mantle” of the Republican Party, Trump said ..... “I will never, ever let you down.” He added: “I will make you proud of our party and our movement.”

That doesn't mean he's going to change. He will never change, will never be Presidential, will never take the responsibilities of office and of representing his party seriously and as more important than his private business. His entire campaign is just like Trump U, a scam. ]

As to the defections and “un-endorsements” of prominent party members like Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio, Trump said that it is “a little disappointing” how his fellow Republicans are reacting to his comments about “Mexican” Judge Gonzalo Curriel, when all he wants is a “fair shake” in the Trump University trial.

He noted that many of his current critics were former primary opponents, and that “in all fairness, they’re some of the people that I went through war with — and I won.”

“There’s a lot of anxiety there,” Trump continued. “There’s a lot of anger, I guess. They just can’t come back — they can’t get over it. So they have to get over it, ideally.”

“As to whether or not they endorse me — it’s OK if they don’t.” [ Remember "some of it I don't want." ] But for the sake of party unity and keeping Hillary Clinton out of the White House, “they have to get over it.”
