TMO and TMF have both been strong lately. Does anyone have an insight into how these stocks will fare next year? The IPO market is not predicted to be as strong as the last couple years, but stocks like Thermo and Safeguard, along with their spin-offs, seem (hope) to offer something more: a proven track record with solid management experience behind them.

I'm looking forward to a pleasant January, and hope to be well ahead of the market with my Safeguard + rights companies in 1998. Any other thoughts?
