However you slice it or try to rationalize it, Trump made a racist remark toward the Hispanic judge. It is irrelevant how the judge feels about Trump wanting to build a wall around Mexico. And I am not accusing Trump of being racist to Hispanics. But this judge is a judge because he has the intellect and spirit to put his personal feelings for Donald Trump behind him and rule on the case objectively. That's what you are suppose to do as a judge. And he should be given the benefit of the doubt here without having his ethnicity mentioned.

The more important question is whether this will do any damage to the Trump candidacy. I think minimal at best and most likely not at all. Why? Because from my experience of living in the USA over the years, there is a very large segment of the population (about 50%) that is racist. They may not say it any longer, but they feel it. Secondly, Hillary Clinton is not exactly peaches and cream or Ms. Innocent. She is a proven liar, slime ball, super hawk, beholden to GS and Wall Street and cannot be trusted.

This is a horrid election with horrendous choices. I still think Trump is the better option if he runs against Hillary.
