hi kitcotodd-re: chinese imports a few things you gata remember 1.- china does NOT want pog to go up much so they hide REAL import totals by NOT publishing amounts imported thru beijing or shanghai- only hong kong 2. the PBOC grossly underestimates amounts it has on hand by storing gold in subsidiaries 3, western press delights in trumpeting underestimates of real china import totals 4, even williams admits that his figures are only estimates NOT hard core facts
