Happy New Year Everyone!

Let's hope 1998 is the year we can all finally move forward with our involvement in Cycomm.

Let's look behind us at 1997 as being a year of consolidation and a shedding of the past (along with a lot of pain for shareholders).

1998 is now for Cycomm to build a solid share price based on earnings and growing market share.

To do this it must communicate better with the market and shareholders.

When Cycomm has positive earnings and more big contracts then everyone will listen (bottom line) but most importantly it also has to sell the dream (top line) if it wants to break out of its >$5 position.

I think we will see this in the next 4 to 6 months.

No recapitalizations or reverse-splits should be contemplated to maintain share values...management must now perform and ensure the company is moving into every available market and chasing every sales lead and quoting on every government contract and not waiting for resellers to make or break the company's revenues.

Every positive development for the company should be announced to the market, including the relatively trivial, if the name "Cycomm" is ever going to be known in the market. Remember when you aren't setting your media agenda your detractors will do it for you.

Equally it is up to management to determine the share price otherwise those who seek to profit from trading weakness through poor volumes and volatility (ie market makers/specialists) will do it for you.

What all this means is that the company is in control of its own destiny and must get the resolve or "fire in the belly" to make 1998 a big year for Cycomm.

Best of luck for the New Year to everyone including the staff and management at CYI.

Rob
