I hope so, but unfortunately, I know you are wrong. What we will get is inflation, just as we head into recession and the Fed and Congress will be impotent to do anything about it...stagflation. It's the logical conclusion of misguided fiscal and monetary policies and government bailouts that allowed the bad debt to pile up, instead of letting the free markets eradicate the debt and the bad debtors to allow for the more responsible business owners to drive new and more healthy growth. We engaged in Keynesianism, Cronyism, Communism, and Socialism and we're now paying the price. Unfortunately, I don't see this turning around. We're too convinced that those isms are better than free markets and Capitalism. Therefore, we're screwed.
