Network Downtime Notice
VoyForums(tm)/www.voy.com has been experiencing a severe upstream network downage, as a result of an upstream network misconfiguration not under Voyager's control. The network block has affected We are actively working on migrating to get the site accessible while the network problems are resolved. (This page is a part of that process, and if you see it, it means our attempts are experiencing success.)We've never experienced such downtime in over 22 years of operation, and are dreadfully sorry for the problem, the issues it has caused, and the prolonged issue with resolving it. Be assured, our computers, your forums, and your message data, are all in-tact -- it is just a network issue. www.voy.com is now showing 2 IPs, depending on which DNS server you get: 192.169.188.31 resolves to "ip-192-169-188-31.ip.secureserver.net" Top Level Domain: "secureserver.net"
69.26.170.8 is the original IP, which is still unreachable, and their host ISP's main web page is still redirecting to a spammer website.
As for "secureserver.net":
"This is a host server used by GoDaddy.com. This server is used for websites/email hosted by GoDaddy. The site itself isn't bad but it is composed entirely of user-created content, so it sometimes is used as a server for spam/phishing; however, many legit websites are hosted here." mywot.com
P.S. I would like to add my appreciation to SI Ron (Soup Nazi) and SI Dmitry (code monkey) for their support for this backup discussion site. |
