Sir Rod, can we assume that Cowpland must go and they must bring in competent technological and marketing leadership. Is it true that Corel doesn't have a marketing strategy of their own and they not only failed to deliver; they failed to design; they failed to assess the risk areas; failed to grasp the fundamental attributes of Java development. You don't see any reason to keep somebody around who has basically run the company into the ground once his hands were on other people's money. According to you, Sir Rod, it's fine if he wants to go off and fail on his own, but he should be removed now to limit any further damage. Sir Rod, you ask in your ever brainfull capacity how will this woefully inept company turn things around? Who can disagree, Sir Rod, that, that is the question everybody is waiting to have answered. Cowpland is not fit to answer Sir Rods question and needs to be removed immediately if not sooner. It needs to be explained by Sir Rod that incompetent people must be moved forward in a more positive direction for their own good and for the good of the company. In other words, terminate him. Why not "(as they have done in previous times) just burned him at the stake" Is it abundantly clear, that Cowpland can't continue to use Microsoft as a shield for his own incompetence. Not only does he lack any leadership qualities, he is a sniveling, gravelling weenie who spends half his energy blaming others and the other half wasting other people's money on whatever happens to interest him.

In Rods world this isn't an experiment, it's a public company that needs to set rational, achievable goals.

Rods top ten ways to make the world a better place:

1. Terminate Cowpland.
2. Terminate the NC effort.
3. Terminate the OLAP effort.
4. Bring in competent technology managers.
5. Refocus the Java effort and cooperate with, not trash, Sun and IBM.
6. Lose the stupid product names like Quattro Pile and the other relics.
7. Focus on a Flow Charting application based on the highly successful VISIO.
8. Find out why inferior products like Micrographx still have a large market.
9. Hire Sir Rod as Cyber-Rant Armchair CEO to replace the most disgusting and vile Cowpland
10. Entice the the W** A.H. Vanni team to cause mass hysteria while Bill Gates shorts the stock

Through all of this I have only one question to Sir Rod:

Do you like Cowpland?
