CUT PRICES = PRODUCT NOT MOVING You cut prices for only one reason.. Pure and simple... If it's not moving as fast as you expected it would and you built up high inventories based on this expectation You have to cut prices and profit margins to move the inventory. Dell and CPQ gave this early indication that the products were not moving in early DEC. when they were cutting prices before the Christmas rush,,,, the RUSH that never came this year.
