Glenn, I basically like most all places. Boston has a lot to offer, and so do lots of other places. It has four seasons which is the good news and at this time of year (speaking as a non-skier) often the bad news. With my friends and children here, I wouldn't be anywhere else though.

I have lived a year in Silicon Valley, and loved that as well. I've spent time living in Sweden and Nederland, and visiting other parts of Europe, and wish I had more time to stay there for longer than a visit. I grew up in Texas and still have family there and visit a couple of times a year and like it there too.

So prefer is a relative term that I can't quite get my arms around when it comes to place. Except, if pressed I guess I could come up with a list of places I would not want to be, but I would rather not get in a public discussion of that topic.
