I do not have an INTC board, but I do serve as one of the humble moderators who's only purpose is to maintain some sense of order. My function here is much the same with the exception of preventing another moderator from banning, for no valid reason, those with whom he does not agree.

If you bought below $2 would you sell now or wait till $5?

I would not have bought below $2 or at much of any price for that matter, until I see a turnaround in AMD's ability to execute as well as display some more ethical behavior. Their behavior has improved I must say from the days of blaming Intel for everything, but it appears that their Zen promotion is following the same pattern as Barcelona and Bulldozer before it. Over promise and under deliver. They have promised full year revenue for 2017, implying availability at or before the start of the year, but at the same time, they've acknowledged a Zen tapeout "early this year". Additionally they've stated it's 12-14 months from tapeout to availability. The math doesn't add up for availability full year 2017 and we don't know exactly what "early this year" means. They demoed Zen a couple of weeks ago but it showed quite limited functionality. They haven't sampled yet or they are just starting now. 6 months from first samples to product availability is very unlikely, imo. We also don't know about their foundry. If it's GLF then we have to consider those guys have traditionally been a bunch of f*ckups.
