Golden Valley Mines (GZZ-V) Sirios Resources (SOI-V) starts drilling Cheechoo gold project next month. Quote Mr. J. Kaiser: Sirios has raised $5.5-million, which Mr. Kaiser says is more than enough for a 10,000-metre drill program this summer. The drill program, the editor says, could "make or break" Sirios's Cheechoo gold project in Quebec. If the drilling goes well, he says, it could show that Cheechoo has a gold zone large enough to be mined underground and then trucked 15 kilometres northwest to Goldcorp Inc.'s Eleonore gold mine for processing. The editor points out that it is important for spec value hunters to understand that there is no evidence that such a deposit actually exists at Cheechoo, but there is some evidence that such a deposit could exist. He also notes that both Goldcorp (G-T) and Osisko Gold Royalties (OR-T) subscribed to Sirios's $5.5-million financing.
