Please take serious heed to what I am about to say, and please know that I say it in love and sincerity.
What you and Alan are taking part in over on Ask God is not the ways of our Father. It does not give Him any glory and therefore cannot be of any use to anyone. It's only good for ammunition against others, even yourself.
Can't you and Alan see what has happened? It is now brother against brother. The accuser of the brethren has manipulated all of you in such a way as to render you all as unreconizable followers of Christ. Hate begets hate.
There is hardly a word on that thread from any of you which is uplifting or encouraging to anyone least of all God our loving Father.
You and Alan have been drawn into a war of the flesh, and it has gotten to the point that our lord and Savior, our precious sweet Jesus, has now taken a back seat, or more accurately stated, He has been put on hold.
Nancy, please stop, look, and listen, to all that you and Alan have posted, search your hearts for truths, and see that those posts really do not reflect the spirit that lives within either of you. You both have lost sight of the ways of Jesus. And satan is patting all of you on the back for doing such a good job of it.
Scripture tells us what we are to do in these circumstances.
1 Cor 5:11-13
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
II Th 3:6-7
6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
7 For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
If we want God's blessings we must obey His word. Let the disorderly carry on but let them carry on alone.
Nancy, you and Alan have stated your case and made your points now it is time to move on again with God.
Matt 7:6
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
Mark 6:11
11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Let God be heard and let the light of His Holy word rise from your hearts and onto your lips. It's our commission Nancy. Hate cannot win when love is present. Darkness cannot stand when there is light.
It takes a strong and spirit filled follower of Christ to walk away from the temptation to argue for the sake of arguing. The Battle is the Lord's. Let God be glorified, and let His enemies be scattered!
