The GOP incumbents are deathly afraid of of the NRA and the Teabaggers. They've seen what happened to those who oppose them. Bob Bennett, a conservative in Utah, was turned out by that nutcase Teabagger Mike Lee. They can't fight them and are afraid. Poor ol' Orrin Hatch had to spend 16 million bucks of his own money to defend his Senate seat. Do you know how many bribes ya gotta take to get 16 million bucks?
