Man killed while walking home from wedding marks Harrisburg's sixth homicide of 2016 pennlive.com excerpt: A man was found lying on the sidewalk, bleeding, early Sunday morning, and now Harrisburg police are investigating what appears to be the sixth homicide in the city this year. The victim was identified as 32-year-old Steven Esworthy, who was found on the 1200 block of Green Street. Police say he appeared to have head and neck trauma after being struck by an object. EMS arrived but determined he had died. According to investigators, Esworthy was walking home from a wedding when he was attacked by a black male, whom a passer-by saw going through Esworthy's pockets before he ran away. Anyone with information or who knows of any cameras in the area is asked to call the police, 717-558-6900. Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.
