Hi Richard, I think we agree on all the essentials. For insider buys I was just referring to open market buys (sometimes insiders will buy token amounts relative to their holdings/ net worth and this can be risky to follow). And I didn't mean to suggest that value investing and risk arb don't overlap - just that using M&A comps in an overheated sector is generally not sound value analysis in the long run..
