Hi,

Let me chime in with my two cents. You aren't going to do well when the market's wind isn't at your back but when it is you should be doing very well. The wind was at my back for five of the past seven years and so far this year it's at my back.
I don’t have any idea why some haven’t done well but I have and continue to do well following their strategy. It took some time to understand the importance of buying the right choices at the right time and managing trades correctly but that’s far behind me now.

BTT preaches, nearly every day, of the importance of buying the newer listed favored ideas following their signal. The reasons for doing so are simple when looking back at the performances.

During those periods when the market rallied twenty percent following the BTT signal the majority of the choices I favored gained more than 50%, many of them gaining over 100% and more.

This occurred in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014. The market didn’t make the 20% gain following the signals in 2012 or in 2015.

It took some time to appreciate the significance of the market’s 20% gain and its impact on purchases and portfolio gains but the lesson learned was one of the best.

Following every signal, I have a portfolio goal for gains of 60% in the following twelve months. The goal keeps me on track. If the market moves up 20% in the 12 months following the signal, a 60% gain goal doesn't turn out to be a difficult one.

2013 was a great year, so was 2014. During those periods, a lot of BTT stocks I liked gained between 50% and 200%. Last year wasn’t anywhere near as good a period but the market was lousy. I wasn’t unhappy with the performance, however. I did better last year than I’d done in earlier bullish periods using other strategies.

Since the signal in February, my choices have an average gain of over 35% and the markets have moved up a little more than 10%. I can’t describe the performance of the market and stocks in the four and half months since their signal in any other way than by saying it’s been very good.

If the market grinds 10% higher over the next seven and a half months, which I believe it will, some of the current purchases will probably have gains over 100% and I should exceed the goal I set in February.

Cheers!
