HI Dave! I'm not a regular poster but a regular lurker and your posts on this thread have helped me greatly and it's good to see you back. I'm still at the beginning of the TA journey and started by reading the whole Beginner thread and therefore came across a multitude of indicators which i all put into MSWIN 6.5. Now i'm into weeding them out and to see which ones i really like. I set up a whole bunch of different templates but notice more and more that i use indicators that are redundant. I really like the stacked EMA's you use and which are also part of DNS. I was wondering if you really need something like DAHL if you get a high reading in the DNS system because a high reading almost assures that you're on the right side of the trend if 5EMA>13EMA>40EMA. To me it feels that when i get a 7 or 8 in DNS and use a database with IBD 70/70 or higher i should look more for a good entry point. Timing ist the keyword and i think you try to achieve this with stochrsi(14). Do i understand the principle correctly? Chandler was talking about using weekly charts after a stock passes throught the test on a daily level. Do you use that too? Thanks to anybody for providing the tools for all of us Beginners to create a foundation on which to raise our own systems... Stefan
