Well, the verdict is in.... GUILTY.

Let me give you some advice. If you ever need a defense attorney, don't hire Carlos the Jackal. He sucked big time! When he wasn't picking his teeth with a hunting knife, he was making goo-goo eyes at the court secretary. Then, he picked his nose during closing arguments.

I got a $325 fine, and 60 hours of community service... picking up litter along the highway.

But, I called one of my legal-eagle friends in Redmond, and he told me what I can do. I'll offer the litterers two alternatives.

1) I will only pick up litter deposited prior to the end of 1995.
or
2) I will give the litterers detailed instructions on how to avoid littering the highway, but I cannot guarantee that the highway will function properly after following the instructions.
