re: "Is this new news?" Not really! I believe it is a less than completely correct interpretation of older news. The real reason that iNTEL cut prices is probably their introduction of three more and significant speed upgrades that loom on the nearby horizon. This is worrisome for AMD unless they can get their act together enough to also introduce some upgrades in the near term. The market action of the stock would appear to say that they are letting things slip further. It remains to be seen whether the recent market action is discounting more bad news than is actually happening. Regards, DARBES
