There's a quote from Trump....I believe it was around 1998.

I don't know it verbatim, but I believe it was something like, "If I was going to run for President I'd run as a Republican because I could LIE to them and they'd believe it."

Maybe somebody here can find that quote, or better yet, a video of it.

I don't think commercials were ever that important. And even less now when a lot of people can just fast forward through them.

But, what has always been important and maybe even more now is the "ground game". Organization and people working things in neighborhoods. And the idea of a neighborhood has changed. Neighborhoods now are not just physical places, they are internet places.

Reaching those places require Money and People and Knowledge.

Ask Romney if he did well in all those Neighborhoods in 2012.....

Or better yet....ask Karl Rove about what happened in the neighborhoods of Ohio....
