Just curious, what institutional brokers are you looking at? I feel I am having the same problem and thinking about looking around. Maybe I should go back to Schwab, however I am pissed at the commissions I have paid when there seems to be no reason for them. They make more on the interest on my money when it has sat in their money market account. The commissions represent such a small % of their overall gross profit why do they continue to drive people away?
